Dr. Ramon Gomez Meda is a distinguished professional with a Degree in Dentistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He received the Thesis Award of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for Academic Excellence.
Complementing his dental degree, Dr. Gomez Meda pursued postgraduate training in various specialties, including Periodontics and Implantology in Madrid, Occlusion and Temporo-mandibular Dysfunction in Valencia, and Orthodontics at the University of Santiago de Compostela.
Internationally recognized, he is a sought-after speaker on topics ranging from Periodontics and Esthetic Dentistry to Multidisciplinary Treatments. Dr. Gomez Meda also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at LSUHSC School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
Dr. Kern graduated from the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), one of the most prestigious universities in Brazil. He obtained a Postgraduate degree in Periodontology in 2003 and a master’s degree in Oral Rehabilitation from the Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa in 2007.
Firmly entrenched within the high aesthetic requirements of Brazilian dentistry, Dr. Ricardo Kern focuses his work on the demanding disciplines of soft tissue design and reconstruction. He has vast experience in immediate implant placement with temporization, from single tooth cases to full arch rehabilitations.
He has presented both didactic programs and hands-on workshops on soft tissue design, preservation and reconstruction at numerous seminars and congresses.
Dr Luis Bessa obtained his degree from ISCS-N (Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde do Norte) in 2008. Due to his interest in surgery, he further pursued his education at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) and specialized in Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery. He also received a postgraduate degree in Orthognatic Surgery during his residency. Working in a hospital environment with other medical specialists gave him a comprehensive understanding of general health and the human body.
Apart from his clinical practice, Dr Luis Bessa has a strong interest in education. He has been a speaker at several international conferences since 2012 and was the head of the Maxillofacial Surgery course at University Fernando Pessoa in 2013. Currently, he is an invited professor for several postgraduate programs on implant at Portuguese and foreign universities. He has his own practice in Porto, NORTH CLINIC, and runs an educational project called NORTH EDUCATION.
As an Oral and MAX FAC surgeon, Dr Luis Bessa has a strong focus on minimal invasive ridge reconstruction using autologous tissues and high-end aesthetic dentistry. He believes in a biological approach and is particularly focused on aesthetic zone management.
Dr. Stavros Pelekanos received his undergraduate degree in Dentistry (D.D.S.) from the University of Athens, Greece. In 1993, he obtained his doctoral degree in Prosthodontics (Dr med dent) from the University of Freiburg (Prof. Dr. J.R. Strub), Germany. Following his professional training, Dr. Pelekanos established a private practice in Athens, oriented towards prosthodontics, implantology and esthetic dentistry. In 2002, he was appointed full-time Lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics, Dental School, University of Athens, Greece, and in 2012 Assistant Professor in the same department. In 2008 and 2011, Dr. Pelekanos received second and first prize at the scientific award competition of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry held in Madrid, Spain and Istanbul, Turkey respectively. To date he has published over twenty articles in peer reviewed journals and 3 chapters in books.
Dr. Andrea Mastrorosa Agnini is a dentist who graduated from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2007. He works in private practice in Modena and Sassuolo, Emilia Romagna, Italy, focusing on Fixed Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology, and Implant Dentistry. He attended the NYU College of Dentistry in the years 2009 – 2011 and was a Clinical Research Fellow of the Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at NYU. He has co-authored various Italian and international scientific publications and is an international lecturer.
He is part of the scientific committee of the annual programs in Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology and Implant Dentistry based at Studio Agnini Odontoiatria since 2008. He is also a lecturer of the Dental Xp Website and author of the book “Digital Dental Revolution: The Learning Curve” edited by Quintessence.
Dr. Alessandro Agnini is a graduate of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy, and has private dental practices in Modena and Sassuolo, Emilia Romagna, specializing in Fixed Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology, and Implant Dentistry. He attended various programs, including Fixed Prosthetic studies with Dr. Gianfranco Di Febo, Periodontology studies with Dr. Gianfranco Carnevale, and the One Year Program in Implant Dentistry with Dr. Mauro Merli. He is an active member of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry since 2006 and has authored and co-authored various Italian and international scientific publications. He is also a lecturer at the Dental Xp website and author of the book “The Digital Revolution: the learning curve” edited by Quintessence. Dr. Alessandro Agnini has been appointed as an Active Member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration and the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry in 2019 and is part of the directory board of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry.
